Last Summer on Earth Concert!

So I'm a little behind in posting this, but I have to share this with you all anyway. Back in July, Josh and I went to the Last Summer on Earth concert at Marymoor Park.

Awesome.

This concert was, basically, my childhood dreams come to fruition. Not only did we get to see Blues Traveler (who perform my all-time favorite song, "Run Around,") but we also got to see BNL! Isaiah stayed home with Gramma, so this was a really fun date night for us. I picked Josh up from work and we immediately went to the concert venue - a beautiful outdoor park with lots of shade trees and sunshine. We got some delicious frankfurters for dinner, then found our seats.

Center Stage. Row 2. Aisle. I was geeked out beyond belief, you guys! I could seriously see the pores on these dudes faces as they sang my favorite songs... "Run Around" and "Hook" by Blues Traveler, and a plethora of songs by BNL - everything from the Big Bang Theory theme song to "If I Had A Million Dollars."  BNL even called Josh out of the audience! He was wearing an argyle-print sweater vest and the guys said they wanted to play checkers on his shirt! It was THE best concert I've ever been to, and I was so glad to share it with my love.

The only downside to the evening? At the end of Blues Traveler's set, John Popper threw his harmonica into the audience. It came right at Josh, but before he could grab it, the guy in front of us tipped it with his fingers and it went flying. I thought to myself, "Hey go get it! It's only a few feet away!" But before I could launch myself out of my chair - I was in shock after all - the other dude got it and I nearly died. I'm still kicking myself for not having better reflexes. At least the guy let me get a picture of the harmonica...
